Who should I be connecting with?
You should be connecting with anyone and everyone that may help you with your job search.
- Part of your job search should include creating a network. Reach out to people that work where you want to work so that you can ask them questions about what it is like to work at the company.
- Foster relationships that can lead to references.
- Never underestimate the power of a large network. Companies look for proactive individuals that go above and beyond the line of duty.
- Having many contacts can give you an edge. Companies don't just look at your resume, they may also look at how large your network or rather how big your potential clientele is.
